The Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan in Germany commented on his name in the context of the Epstein case
Omurbek Tekebaev, the current ambassador of Kyrgyzstan in Germany, commented on the information regarding his name that appeared in materials related to American billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, who was convicted for his connections with minors and subsequently committed suicide in prison.
The diplomat shared that in 2017 he was detained while returning from Vienna to Bishkek, during a time of tense political situation in Kyrgyzstan. This led to a series of protests by his supporters, and international experts expressed concerns about the potential destabilization of the situation in the country, recalling the events of 2010.
Tekebaev noted: “In the context of political risk analysis, my name appeared in international analytical reports. Subsequently, this mention also appeared in the so-called Epstein files, which discuss various political figures, including historical figures such as Hitler, Stalin, Mao, and Castro…”.
It is worth reminding that in the Epstein case, American authorities declassified millions of documents, including text, photo, and video materials.
