He noted that in January 2026, a traffic accident occurred in this area, resulting in the deaths of three people, while another 30 became victims of accidents.
“The recent tragedy on Tynalieva Street, where a person died as a result of an accident, highlights serious safety issues. Statistics show that the number of incidents has nearly doubled compared to the previous year. There used to be a pedestrian crossing on this street, but it was removed,” he added.
The deputy emphasized the need for the construction of an overpass in this area to enhance citizen safety. He also proposed creating a similar crossing on Akhunbaev Street, near Kurchatov Street. Zhanibek Abirov mentioned that the city administration had already taken measures to construct such crossings, and this initiative should be continued.
