
Kanatbek Chynybaev has been appointed as the acting Minister of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic. This step was recorded in a decree signed by the country's president.
According to the president's press service, Chynybaev Koychubekovich's candidacy will be submitted for approval to the Jogorku Kenesh for confirmation as the Minister of Emergency Situations.
Until the parliament makes a final decision, he will perform the functions of the head of the department.
Along with this appointment, Urmatbek Shamyrcanov was relieved of his duties as Minister of Emergency Situations, as reported by the press service of the head of state.
