On February 1, municipal inspectors of Osh conducted an inspection at 254 Alymbek-Datka Street, where they discovered facts of illegal construction.
“As a result of the inspection, violations committed by the company 'Unite Development' were identified. Protocols were drawn up against two excavator operators under the Code of Offenses, and they were fined,” the statement said.
It was also revealed that the owner of the facility located in the protection zone of the canal attempted to change the course without permission. Relevant municipal and supervisory authorities were called to the scene,” the press service added.
According to information from the mayor's office, the owners planned to redirect the canal to construct a business center. In this regard, the necessary documents were prepared, and the materials were submitted to law enforcement agencies for further investigation.
The mayor's office emphasizes that any changes to the course of canals are strictly prohibited. All earthworks related to canals (including excavations and changes to the course) can only be carried out with the permission of the relevant state and municipal authorities. Legal measures will be applied to violators.
