On January 22, a resident of the Panfilov District, Sh. A., approached the police in the Jayil District. He reported that in November 2025, a certain I. R., who worked at one of the lyceums in Kara-Balta, promised to include him in the electronic database for obtaining a driver's license for money. The applicant paid 30,600 soms, but the promise was not fulfilled, and the money was not returned.
Based on this fact, a criminal case was initiated under Article 209 "Fraud" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. The police detained the suspect, I. R., born in 1966, who had a prior conviction. He has been placed in a temporary detention facility.
