The investigation established that after their divorce in August 2020, such incidents became regular. From 2025 to 2026, the woman reported similar statements to law enforcement five times. Despite the application of administrative measures against the suspect, he did not cease his illegal actions.
In connection with these events, a criminal case has been initiated under part 1 of Article 138 of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan, concerning torture.
The suspect, 34-year-old A.A., has been detained and placed in the temporary detention facility of the Main Internal Affairs Department of Bishkek. The investigation is ongoing.
