A terrible incident occurred in the recreational area of "Warm Springs": a car with four passengers fell off a cliff into the Alamedin River.
According to information provided by the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the Chui Region, the incident occurred on February 15, 2026, at approximately 15:30. A report of the incident was received by the Internal Affairs Department of the Alamudun District, and an investigative operational group was dispatched to the scene immediately.
Preliminary data indicates that the driver of the Hyundai Sonata, born in 2000, S.B., lost control at the 15th kilometer of the Bishkek – "Warm Springs" highway. As a result, he went off the road and fell off the cliff into the Alamedin River. At the scene, he and two of his female passengers, of Asian descent, aged approximately 20-25 years, died.
Another passenger, J.A., also born in 2000, was taken to the intensive care unit of the Chui Regional Hospital with various injuries.
The identities of the two deceased girls are currently being established.
A comprehensive and thorough investigation is underway, aimed at clarifying all the circumstances of the incident. Based on the results of the investigation, a decision will be made in accordance with the current legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
