The General Prosecutor's Office of the Kyrgyz Republic reported the completion of work to return a social facility that was illegally alienated to municipal ownership.

As a result of an inspection conducted by the prosecutor's office of the Uzgen district to identify facts of illegal transfer of state property into private hands, a serious violation of legislation was established. This concerns a land plot of 289.3 square meters, which belongs to the S. Sharipov Secondary School in Uzgen.

It was found that this plot was unlawfully removed from state ownership, which contradicts current legal norms.

Thanks to the intervention of the supervisory authority, the plot, valued at 5,517,230 soms, was returned to the management of the municipality.

In addition, the Uzgen city administration previously reported that nine illegal structures had been built on the school grounds, which were also returned to the educational institution's jurisdiction.
