During the inspection, the inspectors noticed the overload of tobacco products from a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van into another vehicle.
According to the STS, the vehicle contained 21,900 packs of cigarettes of the Oris and Zumerret brands, which did not have excise stamps. In this regard, the necessary acts were drawn up, and further measures will be taken in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The van used by the smugglers has been placed in a specialized impound lot for further investigation.
