According to the information, on December 12, 2025, a 77-year-old resident of the capital contacted the police. She reported that she had become a victim of fraudsters posing as law enforcement officers and transferred a large sum — 850,000 soms.
A criminal case was initiated regarding this incident under Article 209 ("Fraud") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During operational activities, law enforcement officers detained the suspect, identified as A.Z., born in 2004. He was placed in a temporary detention facility.
Currently, the investigation is ongoing to identify other individuals involved in this crime.
