Investigative measures are being conducted concerning the high school student who, according to law enforcement, is suspected of hooliganism for attacking an elderly teacher.
Earlier this month, the city mayor Aibek Junushaliev and Minister of Education Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva visited Bolathana Karibzhanov, the injured pre-conscription training teacher, in the hospital.
The incident, which took place on February 16, was the result of a conflict between the teacher and the student that escalated into a physical confrontation. According to the police, law enforcement officers arrived at the scene.
It has been established that the participants in the conflict were 10th grader M.K., born in 2010, and teacher K.B., who turned 66 this year. The educator filed a complaint requesting action against the student, while the minor sought medical assistance.
