According to the information, on April 2, 2021, a resident of the capital contacted law enforcement. He reported that from November 10, 2020, to April 15, 2021, he had transferred 1 million 50 thousand soms to a person who promised to help resolve his son's problems, who was detained in Moscow.
This incident was registered under Article 204 ("Fraud") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic in its previous edition.
On February 20, 2026, police officers detained the suspect, known as I.E., born in 1985, and placed him in a temporary detention facility.
During the investigative activities, a possible connection of the detainee with other similar crimes is being established.
