Gulnur is confident that raising geese and turkeys is a profitable business. “In the spring, we purchased 65 turkeys and 15 geese, spending 17,000 soms on feed. Turkeys cost between 1,500 and 2,000 soms, while young turkey chicks cost between 800 and 900 soms. They graze on the lawn by the river. In anticipation of the New Year holidays, we started selling. The price for slaughtered turkeys reaches 3,500 soms, while live turkeys cost about 1,800 soms. Geese are priced at 1,500 soms and take good care of their chicks. Turkeys can graze for a long time until they are driven home, but turkey chicks require more attention. We realized that raising birds is more profitable than cattle. My husband sometimes goes to work, and the kids and I take care of the grazing. There are no difficulties. We sold a small batch and kept some for future hatching of chicks. In the spring, we plan to expand the area of the poultry farm,” she added.
At the parliamentary meeting on October 2, 2024, the Minister of Labor, Social Development, and Migration, Zhyldyz Polotova, reported that six people received interest-free loans totaling 200,000 soms for the successful implementation of the “social contract.” Previously, these citizens also received 100,000 soms to start a business.

In the past two years, more than 12,000 people have benefited from the “social contract” program, receiving 100,000 soms each.

According to the minister, it is planned to issue 1,000 such loans totaling 200,000 soms.
