Bishkek schoolchildren competed in toguz korgool









From January 26 to 31, Bishkek hosted the city stage of the school league competitions in toguz korgool, which included the winners of the district tournaments.

According to information provided by the city administration, 16 schoolchildren who placed in the top three from four districts of the capital participated in this stage.

Within the framework of the school league, competitions are held in Bishkek in 13 different sports, including badminton, basketball, volleyball, handball, darts, both children's and classic athletics, mini-football, table tennis, pioneerball, toguz korgool, ordo, and chess.

The results of the toguz korgool tournament among boys: the first place was taken by school No. 51 from the Sverdlovsk district, the second place went to the "Seitek" school from the Pervomaisky district, the third place was taken by boarding school No. 1 also from the Pervomaisky district, and the fourth place went to school No. 69, also from the Pervomaisky district.

Among girls, the victory was claimed by school No. 112 from the Oktyabrsky district, the second place was taken by school No. 96 from the Leninsky district, the third place was taken by school No. 51 from the Sverdlovsk district, and the fourth place went to school No. 66 from the same district.

The city administration noted that the winners and prize-winners of the city stage were awarded diplomas, medals, and cups, and also received the opportunity to go on summer vacation to Lake Issyk-Kul. The events were organized by the Department of Physical Culture and Sports, as well as Tourism and Youth Policy of the Bishkek City Administration.
