Dastanbek Nurmanbetov won bronze at the Open Masters Games

Athlete from Kyrgyzstan Dastanbek Nurmanbetov managed to win a bronze medal at the World Open Masters Games 2026, taking place in the United Arab Emirates.

According to information from the State Agency for Sports, Nurmanbetov competed in the category for athletes over 30 years old.

In his first match, he won against an athlete from Jordan, but in the second round, he suffered a defeat against a competitor from Uzbekistan.

Nevertheless, in the third round, he once again demonstrated his abilities, defeating an athlete from Kazakhstan and securing the bronze medal for himself.

It should be noted that Islam Bayalinov previously won a gold medal in the weight category up to 73 kg.

Additionally, in the archery competitions, Asel Sharbekova won silver and bronze medals.
