From February 25 to March 1, the international ranking tournament Muhamet Malo will take place in the Albanian capital, Tirana, featuring Akjol Makhmudov, a wrestler from Kyrgyzstan.
The athlete will compete in the weight category up to 82 kg and represents the national team of the country.
Recently, on February 13, Makhmudov achieved victory over Bulgarian wrestler Aik Mnatsakanyan with a score of 5:2 at the SUPER 4 WRESTLING tournament.
This tournament in Albania will be his second official competition after winning a bronze medal at the 2024 Summer Olympics. Additionally, in November 2025, he became the holder of a gold medal at the 2025 Islamic Games.
