On February 21, the National Team of Kyrgyzstan in athletics took second place at the 18th Asian Cross Country Championship held in the Japanese city of Fukuoka. This information was published by the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports.
The team included Nursultan Keneshbekov, Jusup Sulayman uulu, and Tilekzhan Zhekshenaly uulu, who successfully completed the 10-kilometer distance and won silver medals.
The first place went to the Japanese team, while the third position was taken by the team from the People's Republic of China.
