This season, the team will compete in Group B of the second division, where the competition will take place from April 6 to 12 in Sofia, Bulgaria. Six teams will participate in the tournament.
The national team's preparation will begin on March 18.
Among the opponents of the Kyrgyz team will be teams from Israel, Iceland, New Zealand, Bulgaria, and Chinese Taipei.
The team that finishes in first place will have the opportunity to move up to Group A of the second division, while the last-place team, in sixth place, will be forced to leave the division and move to the third division (Group A).
Last season, the Kyrgyzstan national team performed successfully in Group A of the third division, which took place in Istanbul, Turkey, and finished in first place, becoming world champions.
