The Virus Weightlifting Series competitions took place from March 5 to 8 in Columbus, Ohio, as part of the Arnold Sports Festival, which was founded by Arnold Schwarzenegger in 1989.
In the under 110 kg category, 108 athletes competed, including Rasulbekov.
In his first attempt in the snatch, he lifted 160 kg, then increased the weight to 165 kg in his second attempt, but the final attempt with 170 kg was unsuccessful.
Nevertheless, his result of 165 kg in the snatch was the best, earning him a small gold medal.
In the clean and jerk, representing the Marin Heavy Athletics team, the Kyrgyzstani successfully completed all three attempts: 190, 200, and 210 kg, which allowed him to win another small gold medal.
A total weight of 375 kg secured Rasulbekov first place and the main gold medal of the tournament.
Following the competition, Bekdolot Rasulbekov was recognized as the best athlete and awarded the MVP prize.
