Schoolgirl from Ak-Suu Nurelina Tursunalieva became a prize-winner of the international chess tournament

In Bukhara, Uzbekistan, the international chess tournament for teenage girls has concluded, where Nurelina Tursunalieva took an honorable third place. This was reported by her coach, Samat Derkembaev.

He noted that the Issyk-Kul region was represented by five female chess players at this event.

This tournament became an important event, gathering the strongest female chess players from 13 countries, and took place from March 9 to 16. Nurelina, competing among 62 participants, secured third place and received a cash prize, as reported by her coach.

Since the age of 7, Nurelina Tursunalieva has been actively engaged in chess and is a six-time champion of Kyrgyzstan. She is currently studying in the eighth grade at the M. Mamakeev Gymnasium, located in the village of Ak-Suu in the Ak-Suu district.
