Denis Petrashov won three medals at the tournament in the USA

Athlete from Kyrgyzstan, Denis Petrashov, successfully competed in an international tournament held in the USA, winning three medals.

The Pro Swim Series took place in Austin, Texas, from January 14 to 18. Petrashov participated in three distances.

The final race in the 100 meters breaststroke was held early in the morning on January 15, where the Kyrgyzstani swimmer showed an excellent result, finishing in 2nd place and receiving a silver medal, losing by just 0.1 seconds to American swimmer Matthias Vann.

Then, on January 17, the final for the 50 meters breaststroke took place. Petrashov again finished second, clocking a time of 27.12 seconds and thus winning his second silver medal, once again losing to Vann.

On the same day, the competition for the 200 meters breaststroke started, where the Kyrgyzstani swimmer successfully passed the preliminary round and advanced to the final.

In the decisive race, which took place on January 18, Denis secured 2nd place, earning his third silver medal at the tournament, losing to four-time Olympic champion and seven-time world champion Léon Marchand from France.
