These days, the next stage of the Pro Swim Series is taking place in Austin, Texas. The competition in the 200-meter breaststroke started on January 18.
Petrashov confidently made it to the final, where he took second place, earning a silver medal. His opponent was the four-time Olympic champion from Paris and seven-time world champion from France, Leon Marchand, whom the Kyrgyzstani lost to.
This medal became the third for Petrashov at the current tournament; earlier, he won silver in the 50 and 100 meters breaststroke events.
