English Champion Victor Moses swapped London for the artificial turf of Kyzylorda

Victor Moses's transfer to "Kaisar" has become one of the most unexpected events of the winter transfer window. The 35-year-old Nigerian footballer, who gained fame through his performances for "Chelsea," has signed a contract with a club that is currently trying to maintain its place in the top division of Kazakhstan.

Moses, who was one of the key players for "Chelsea" during the championship season of 2016/17 under Antonio Conte, has been without a club since mid-2022. In that campaign, he excelled in the right-back position in a formation with three center-backs.

After several months without a team, the player decided to continue his career in Kazakhstan. The contract with "Kaisar" is valid until December 2026, and it is worth noting that he has become the only foreign player in the club's squad.

This transfer has sparked much discussion due to the contrast between Moses's fame and the status of his new club. Currently, Victor has about 1.2 million followers on Instagram, while "Kaisar" has only around 35,000. The club has yet to win the title of champion of Kazakhstan, and its stadium accommodates about 7,000 spectators.

The player has already met with fans at the "Kaisar" stadium, where he was warmly welcomed. Moses showcased his skills, interacted with fans, and signed autographs.

The club's management hopes that Moses's high-level experience, as well as his leadership qualities and professionalism, will help "Kaisar" successfully complete the current season and avoid relegation from the Kazakhstan Premier League.
