Kyrgyz UFC light heavyweight fighter, Uran Satybaldiev, will not be able to participate in the upcoming tournament due to a serious injury. During the final training session, he suffered a ligament tear in his left knee. This was reported by the athlete's coach, Tynchtykbek Omurzakov, in an interview with Sport AKIpress.

According to him, the surgery necessary for recovery will be covered by the UFC and is scheduled for the near future. At the moment, Satybaldiev is in Las Vegas, where the surgical intervention will take place.

“The recovery process will take about four months. After Uran starts to feel better and can move around, he will return to Kyrgyzstan,” added Omurzakov.

Satybaldiev's next fight was scheduled for February 8 at the UFC Fight Night tournament in Las Vegas, where he was set to face American fighter Julius Walker (record 7–1).
