On January 29, 2026, the Ambassador of Mongolia to Canada, Sarantogos Erdenetsogt, held an online lecture for students of the School of Political Studies at the University of Ottawa, where she discussed the history of the country, its foreign policy, and relations with Canada. Students showed particular interest in topics related to Mongolia's partnerships with neighboring countries and third states, as well as questions concerning the country's economic and environmental development.
Sarantogos answered the future specialists' questions in detail, who will develop Mongolian-Canadian relations, and spoke about new opportunities for cooperation between the countries. She also invited the students to visit Mongolia.
