An earthquake, according to EMSC, occurred at a depth of 15 kilometers, with the epicenter located approximately 90 kilometers east of the city of Guantanamo, which has a population of about 300,000 people.
Despite the alarm raised among the local population, authorities decided not to issue a tsunami warning and continue to monitor the situation. Emergency services urged citizens to follow information through official channels.
