From February 9 to 12, 2026, at the invitation of Vyacheslav Viktorovich Volodin, Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of Russia, Uchral Nyam-Osor, Speaker of the Great State Khural of Mongolia, will arrive in Russia on an official visit.
The main objective of the visit is to further strengthen the strategic partnership between Mongolia and Russia, as well as to maintain regular high-level mutual visits. Additionally, it is planned to continue the political dialogue and expand cooperation between the legislative bodies of both countries. The visit is also aimed at creating a comfortable legal environment for the development of cooperation in the areas of politics, economy, business, and trade.
During his stay in Russia, Uchral Nyam-Osor will meet with Vyacheslav Volodin and Valentina Matviyenko, Chairwoman of the Federation Council. During these meetings, the state of traditional relations between the two neighboring countries and issues of parliamentary cooperation will be discussed.
Also, the second meeting of the Joint Commission on Cooperation between the Great State Khural of Mongolia and the Federal Assembly of Russia will take place in Moscow. Speaker Nyam-Osor will hold a meeting with Bakytzhan Sagintayev, Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission, to discuss the implementation of the Temporary Trade Agreement concluded between Mongolia and the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union. In conclusion, he will participate in a business forum titled "Mongolia – Eurasian Economic Union."
