Due to the arising issues, hotels are recommended not to check out tourists and to provide them with the opportunity to extend their stay under the same conditions as the initial booking. In case a tourist cannot pay for the additional accommodation, hotels must notify the authorities about this situation.
Yesterday, the Russian Association of Tour Operators reported that hotels in Dubai and Sharjah began checking out guests upon the completion of their paid stay. At the same time, the authorities of Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah have taken on the expenses for extending accommodation for foreign citizens.
