The President of Kazakhstan expressed his position regarding the attack of Iranian UAVs on the airport in Nakhchivan.
According to the press secretary of the President of Kazakhstan, Aibek Smadiyarov, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev condemned the attack of Iranian drones on the airport of Azerbaijani Nakhchivan.
Smadiyarov emphasized that this attack against brotherly Azerbaijan is met with strong condemnation from the president.
Furthermore, the head of state expressed hope that Iran and Kazakhstan will jointly conduct a thorough investigation of this incident and will strive for a diplomatic resolution of the conflict situation to avoid further escalation of tensions in the region.
