The total number of billionaires in the world continues to increase. The new ranking recorded 4,020 billionaires — a record level. Over the past year, the list has been supplemented by 726 new entrants, averaging two new billionaires per day. The majority of them emerged in China.
As for cities, New York leads with 146 billionaires.
Elon Musk still holds the title of the richest person in the world, with a fortune of around $800 billion. In second place is Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon, whose fortune is estimated at $300 billion.
