The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan noted that efforts to return citizens from the conflict zone in the Middle East continue in cooperation with other government agencies.
Kazakh diplomatic missions are actively coordinating their actions on the ground and maintaining communication with citizens abroad.
It was previously reported that more than 7.3 thousand Kazakhstanis have already returned home, as they were unable to leave the Middle East due to the escalation of military actions around Iran and the closure of airports in the region.
