Due to the deterioration of the military-political situation in the Middle East, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan has urgently called on citizens of the country who are in this region to leave as soon as possible because of the potential escalation of the conflict.
The ministry has made several recommendations for Kyrgyz citizens currently in Middle Eastern countries:
- be extremely vigilant;
- constantly monitor official news from government sources;
- follow the instructions and advice of local authorities;
- avoid sharing unverified information;
- avoid places where large crowds gather unless absolutely necessary;
- check the status of flights in advance when planning trips;
- stay away from military and strategic sites.
The ministry continues to monitor the situation and will promptly inform about developments.
