Previously, in Mexico, a military operation resulted in the elimination of Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, known as El Mencho, the leader of one of the largest drug cartels, "Jalisco - New Generation." This led to mass riots and clashes between armed cartel members and law enforcement agencies in several states.

According to Mexican authorities, criminals are blocking roads, setting vehicles on fire, and attacking law enforcement officers. Several cartel members have been killed as a result of the operation, and there are also injuries among the military.

Dozens of suspects have been detained in several states. Against the backdrop of this crisis, airlines have begun canceling flights, and authorities are urging tourists to remain in hotels and take precautions.
