The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan recommended citizens refrain from traveling to Iran

In light of the airstrikes in Iran and the escalating tensions in the Middle East, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic has issued a warning for its citizens.

The agency emphasizes that all Kyrgyz citizens planning to travel to Iran should postpone their intentions until the situation improves.

Kyrgyz citizens who are already in Iran are advised to immediately contact the diplomatic representations of Kyrgyzstan in case of emergencies.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as of February 28, the border between Turkey and Iran remains open, and the checkpoints are operating normally.
