The mayor of the Osh region, Zhenishbek Toktorbaev, initiated a project to plant 5,000 saplings in the area where previously dismantled commercial structures were located in the park named after Alisher Navoi. The press service of the mayor's office reported that this decision is a continuation of efforts to improve the urban environment. The mayor emphasized the need to create modern and comfortable conditions for the residents' recreation, which implies a complete renewal of this area.
An important element of the project will be the transformation of the square where the "Palvan-Saray" building was located into a new recreational area.
