Iran struck American military facilities in the UAE after Israel's attacks

According to the agency, the UAE's air defense systems operated effectively, intercepting missiles aimed at American military facilities, including bases and other U.S. infrastructure in the country. The Ministry of Defense noted that no destruction has been recorded on Emirati territory, and the situation remains under control, posing no threat to the civilian population.

Earlier, some media outlets and social networks reported possible strikes on UAE cities, including Dubai; however, these reports have not yet received official confirmation.

The escalation of the conflict began in response to Israeli airstrikes on Iran, after which Tehran announced the start of a retaliation operation, including the launch of missiles and drones against enemy military targets in the region. According to international sources, among the targets could be U.S. bases in several Persian Gulf countries, such as Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and the UAE itself.

As a result, several countries in the region temporarily closed their airspace and raised their air defense systems to a heightened state of readiness.

At present, there is no confirmed information about hits on civilian objects in the UAE. Officials claim that the attacks were successfully repelled by air defense systems.
