During the conducted screening, 40 thousand 942 cases of hepatitis B, 23 thousand 39 cases of hepatitis C, and 1,067 cases of hepatitis D were identified.
Citizens with negative test results have the opportunity to receive free vaccination. Those with positive results are referred for treatment at family medicine centers, he added.
In addition, in collaboration with the Center for Electronic Health, an integrated register of patients with viral hepatitis has been created, which is linked to the electronic outpatient card. More than 260 thousand records have already been entered into this register.
To enhance the effectiveness of preventive measures, the following actions have been implemented:
- training of about 2,000 primary healthcare specialists;
- an information campaign conducted through state channels;
- more than 2 million citizens received SMS notifications;
- information work organized with 2,039 imams in collaboration with the National Agency for Religious Affairs;
- distribution of videos, posters, and audio announcements;
- in 2025, preventive work reached more than 1.5 million people.
