The Center offers free rehabilitation services that include:
- medical rehabilitation, covering physiotherapy, therapeutic physical training (TPA), massage, paraffin therapy, and dental treatment and prosthetics;
- medical-technical assistance, including preparation for prosthetics and adaptation to prostheses;
- psychological support;
- social and labor rehabilitation with training in sewing, beadwork, drawing, and computer literacy;
- social and cultural rehabilitation, which includes organizing cultural events with the active participation of patients.
To receive these services, the following document package must be provided:
- a referral from the Family Medicine Center, the General Practice Center, the Medical-Social Expert Commission, or the Republican Institution for Prosthetic and Orthopedic Products;
- passport;
- a copy of the disability certificate from the MSEC;
- conclusion of fluorography, as well as the results of a general blood and urine analysis;
- individual rehabilitation and habilitation program for the disabled (IRP).
Patients are accommodated in wards where they are provided with three meals a day, access to recreational areas, a television, board games, a library, and a computer class.
The length of stay at the center is from 10 to 20 days. In cases of rehabilitation related to prosthetics, this period may vary from 15 to 35 working days depending on the complexity of the prosthetic-orthopedic product and the time needed for adaptation.
Individuals with first-group disabilities who require assistance during initial prosthetics may be hospitalized with accompanying persons, who are also provided with a bed and meals.
Upon discharge of patients from remote regions, travel allowances for one-way transportation are provided once a year for land transport, excluding taxis.
Since the beginning of this year, 855 citizens have undergone rehabilitation.
