According to information from the authorities, as of January 27, 2026, traders began to settle into the new trading spaces. Comfortable working conditions have been provided – the trading rows are located in an enclosed area and are situated on a spacious territory with convenient access.
Previously, the market was located along the central streets, and many trading points were near residential buildings. In some cases, sellers even occupied the roadway.
The relocation of markets is being carried out as part of a program to consolidate them in one zone. Currently, more than 30 small markets from the city have moved to the new "Жаңы Ош базары" [central market]. The market administration is signing contracts with entrepreneurs.
