The Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic has decided to extend the zero rate of value-added tax (VAT) on feed used in fish farming until the end of 2027. The head of the government, Adylbek Kasymaliev, signed amendments to the resolution regarding measures to ensure food security and stabilize prices in the market.

This initiative is aimed at supporting local producers.

According to the new provisions, no tax will be charged on the sale of feed if it is supplied directly to fish farming enterprises.

The government is confident that these measures will help reduce costs in the industry, increase the volume of local production, and ensure stable prices for fish farming products.
