In response to her remark, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture Bakyt Torobaev emphasized that the Phytosanitary Service is an independent body and that quality oversight of its activities is ensured.
“Previously, low-quality seeds entered the country that had no certificates and were contaminated. Thanks to oversight, such cases are now excluded,” he noted.
On the same day, information from the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic was discussed regarding preparations for spring field and economic activities in 2026 in the country.
