- The increase in this indicator by 16.8% is mainly due to inflows from Russia, which grew by 16.1%.
- The growth in the volume of remittances in dollars was supported by the strengthening of the ruble against the dollar by 24% as of the end of 2025.
- At the same time, the exchange rate of the Kyrgyz som to the dollar remained virtually unchanged, decreasing by only 0.5% over the year.
EDB analysts emphasize that the increase in remittance volumes contributes to the growth of domestic demand: in 2025, the domestic market grew by 17.8%.
