The purpose of this Temporary Trade Agreement is to create optimal conditions for mutual trade, reduce both tariff and non-tariff barriers, simplify customs procedures, and stimulate economic cooperation between the countries.
The agreement includes the mutual provision of preferential tariffs on a wide range of goods, harmonization of technical regulations, as well as sanitary and phytosanitary standards. In addition, the document provides for the development of cooperation in key sectors such as agriculture, processing, transport, and logistics.
The draft law was approved in the first reading.
