The financial regulator has also extended the validity of the resolution for the Kazakh tenge. According to the document, commercial banks, exchange offices, as well as microfinance and microcredit organizations that have licenses for cash foreign currency exchange, must set the purchase rate of the Kazakh tenge in relation to the Kyrgyz som, taking into account the risk weighting coefficient, which should not exceed 70% of the official rate of the Kazakh tenge established by the NB KR. The validity of this document has also been extended until September 15, 2026.
