In 2025, the import of onions and garlic increased by 3.1 times

- In 2025, the import of onions and garlic in Kyrgyzstan increased by 3.1 times. This data was announced by the National Statistical Committee.

According to the agency's information, from January to December 2025, the republic imported 24 thousand tons of onions and garlic for a total of $6.5 million. Compared to the same period in 2024, the volume of supplies increased by 3.1 times, when 7.9 thousand tons were imported for a total of $1.8 million.

The republic purchases onions and garlic from the following countries:
