In 2025, Kyrgyzstan increased banana imports by 9%

According to the National Statistical Committee, in 2025, Kyrgyzstan increased its banana import volume by 9%. From January to December, the republic imported 40 thousand tons of this fruit, costing $32 million. Compared to the previous year, when 37 thousand tons were imported for $27 million, there is a noticeable growth.

The main banana supplying countries to Kyrgyzstan are presented in the following table:
