Kyrgyzstan provides itself with vegetables and melons at 200%, but vegetable oil covers half of the demand, - Ministry of Agriculture

According to the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of Kyrgyzstan, the level of self-sufficiency in potatoes in the country for the first 11 months of 2025 was 200.5%. Vegetables and melons reached a figure of 204.8%, while milk stood at 131.4%.

Additionally, according to data from this agency, the population's self-sufficiency in meat was 85.5%, while eggs and sugar reached levels of 80.6% and 80.1%, respectively.

On the other hand, the self-sufficiency indicators for bread were 63.2%, for fruits and berries — 61.6%, and for vegetable oil — 52.6%.
