Of this amount, 502 million soms were accounted for by hotels and other establishments offering short-term accommodation, which is 25.1% more than in January 2025.
As for restaurants, bars, and other catering services, their total volume amounted to 2 billion 983.9 million soms, increasing by 8.2% year-on-year.
In January 2025, the volume of services in the hotel and restaurant sector was 2 billion 886.9 million soms, of which 360.1 million soms were attributed to hotels and short-term accommodation establishments, while 2 billion 526.8 million soms were for restaurants and bars.
The growth in service volumes in the hotel and restaurant sector in January 2026 was observed in all regions of the country, except for the Jalal-Abad and Naryn regions.
