The Chui region and Bishkek will become sites for a new project
Deputy Prime Minister Erlis Akunbekov announced measures aimed at stabilizing meat prices in the country. One of the key initiatives will be a pilot project for the creation of a meat cluster.
The project, which will be implemented in Bishkek and the Chui region, will focus on increasing meat production through the industrial fattening of cattle.
Starting in 2026, farmers and agribusinesses participating in this cluster will be able to rely on government support, including preferential loans with low interest rates. Financing will be provided through state banks such as "Aiyl Bank" and "Eldik Bank".
