The head of the country's financial oversight expressed an opinion on the current state of cash
Currently, there are between 200 and 300 billion soms held by the population in Kyrgyzstan, which raises serious concerns in light of the ongoing inflationary processes. This information was shared by Marat Pirnazarov, chairman of the Financial Market Regulation and Supervision Service, at a meeting at the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange.
In his opinion, such a significant amount should be converted into other forms of assets.
“Our main task is to convince citizens that these funds should be directed towards investments. Into the real sector of the economy, rather than keeping them at home,” emphasized Pirnazarov.
